Registration is now open!
Registration for the 2020 - 2021 Catechetical year is now open.
We will begin faith formation the first of November.
As a result of COVID-19 were are unable to gather in person. This year we will be offering Family Catechesis for pre-k - 8th graders. We will be utilizing the Pathways Formation Suite. For our non-sacarment families we will be using the Source + Summit which is a weekly reflection on the Sunday Gospel which is written by families, for families. This program is led by parents, shared as a family and experienced in the home. We will then meet virtually twice a month.
For our sacrament families - those who have a child(ren) who will be making their first communion (year 2) we will be using the Mend & Noursih programs from the Pathways Formation Suite. This is a weekly program which is led by parents, shared as a family and experienced in the home. We will then meet virtually twice a month.

Learning about and living the principles of our Catholic faith is a lifelong process and not one intended to cover just those “Special” events (Baptism, Eucharist, Confirmation, etc) in the lives of Catholics.
You as parents dedicated your child at his/her Baptism and made the commitment to educate him/her in the teachings of the Catholic Church. It is precisely for this reason that ALL baptized Catholic children and youth from first grade through tenth grade not in a parochial school are EXPECTED to attend formal classes every year. We, at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church extend this opportunity to children ages 4 and Kindergarten.
The faith formation responsibility not only entails enrolling the children in a formal Faith Formation program but also ensuring that classes are attended each week and worship at Mass takes place each Sunday as a family.
Children and youth learn more by example than any other mode of communication. Please give your children the “Good Example” of placing faithful Mass attendance and Faith Formation sessions at the TOP of your “TO DO” list.
